Manchester's driving theory test is located at 111 Piccadilly, just off the A6 in central Manchester. While you can drive there, you may have to park in a nearby car park and pay for the privilege. It could be simpler to come in by train, as Manchester Piccadilly is just a four minute walk away: head out of the station and left on Store Street, then turn right on to the A6. You can't miss the theory test centre building; it's 100m down the road on your right! The Piccadilly/Paton Street stop is the nearest bus stop, and is an even shorter walk than from the station. There is also a bike rack outside the building for those who want to cycle in for their test.

Though the driving theory test centre is convenient to get to, it's not available to contact directly, so the most convenient way of booking your theory test is through our online form - just have your UK or NI driving licence number and a valid payment card ready. 111 Piccadilly, where the theory test centre is located, is an exciting building - during the 1960s it housed US military staff, and during the 2002 Commonwealth Games one floor of the building was converted into an entertainment venue.
